CINEMATIC PERFORMANCE
Private Self Tape Auditions by Stan Wong
A writer/ director, Stan Wong found his passion for film while living in the West Village, New York. He wrote his first short film, “Lonely,” after contemplating long and hard on his successful but unfulfilling business career. In 2010 Stan and Brad Milne meet for the first time in the audition for “Lonely,” where Brad was cast as the lead. They have become close friends ever since, learning much from each other. Stan is currently developing his first feature film “Departure.”
Before you land a role, you have to deliver a winning performance. Have an award winning director work with you for your, private, one on one, self tape submissions. Audition sides that are sent to actors usually leave a lot up to the imagination. Work with Stan to develop the most creative and proficient interpretation of the script. In this new environment, self taped auditions have become the norm. Production value of those tapes are more important than ever. Let us help you be confident that you delivered the best performance with the maximum production value for your submissions.

ADULT AUDITION
Taught by Jason Weinberg
After doing Stand-up and Sketch comedy for 4 years, Jason became an Actor back in 1993. Quickly realizing the need for professional training, he auditioned for, and earned a master’s degree from the American Repertory Theatre’s Institute of Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard, also known as A.R.T. He then continued to study On Camera Acting for the next 25 years from some of the best teachers in New York, Los Angeles, and Toronto.

Jason is very lucky to have worked on numerous plays by great authors, with great directors, primarily in New York, Boston, and here in Toronto. He is also equally grateful to have been the lead in Television series and had important recurring roles in others. He has worked on over 100 other television and film projects. He currently has a recurring role in the upcoming Netflix Series “Grand Army”. He just finished shooting the miniseries “The Green Room” with Jeff Daniels. Hopefully, when we return to normal life, he can continue his work on the movie Flint Strong by Barry Jenkins (Moonlight). He is truly honored to be part of Milne Acting Studios, and the special atmosphere of respect and growth created by Brad Milne.
TEEN ACTING
Taught by Raechel Fisher
Raechel has been a passionate actor and arts educator for over ten years. She began acting at a young age which eventually progressed to her earning a BFA in the York University Acting Conservatory program. After graduation, she launched into her first professional performance in Canadian Stage’s Shakespeare in High Park in their productions of Hamlet (directed by Birgit Schreyer Duarte) and All’s Well That End’s Well (directed by Ted Witzel). Since then, she has done several short films, Fringe productions (Montreal, London, Toronto), musicals and commercials. Most recently, Raechel had just finished a production of Oh What A Lovely War at Hart House Theatre and was just about to begin rehearsals on her first opera with Mightier Productions.

Alongside her acting work, Raechel feeds her love for arts education by directing, writing and choreographing a variety of children’s theatre in the GTA for a variety of ages. She also extends her passion to chaperoning young actors’ onset and in theatre. Raechel looks forward to getting back to work and adjusting to the new challenges coming our way! She hopes that through her classes, she can provide a space where young actors can find their strength and engage with their sense of play—even if that means falling on their faces a few times! She feels so excited and lucky to be able to join such an incredibly driven group of actors at Milne’s Studio.

Matthew’s classes are dynamic and engaging and as an educator, his call to action is to draw out the authentic presence of each individual he works with. In the spirit of collaboration, let’s honour the present moment only to inspire and move into future potential.
